That's because he is better. This isn't even about Hunt bashing for most of us. We don't go out of our way to find things to nitpick about. Unlike most of you immature anti-Billy heads. When I watch Harmy play, his gross deficiencies are there for all to see. I don't even have to get out the magnifiying glass. If he was as exceptional as you all say he is, I and Queenslander for example wouldn't have reason to criticise him. I'm all for being like our friend Hammo, who can recognise Hunt as a good player and still like Slater more as a footballer. I'd love to be able to do that. But to me, Hunt brings very little to the table and has always more arse than class. No finer example of that than his wanky first season "goose step". He never backed it up and his affectiveness was as temporary as the high amount of product he put in his hair. I'm looking for honesty within a footballer. Someone who shows up each week, always tries his best, if he's flashy it must be consistantly so and with great effect and someone who is reliable. Someone who gives 110% each week and lives and breathes the club. That sort of player was a part of the very sucessful teams of the 90's and nothing less was expected. Hunt isn't all of that for me. Slater is far from perfect but he displays more of those qualities than Hunt IMO. Slater>Hunt. Round and round as the poster above me says though.
