Lockyer may have been supportive of bringing in Siebold but I am sure if White had decided to let Bennett see out his contract this year Lockyer would definitely not have opposed it.
White although not on the board has more clout with this than Lockyer. There is no way Lockyer could have over ruled him even if he wanted to.
I hope Bennett and Walters realise this.
