[QUOTE="WASSHHH, post: 3339594, member: 9424"] I can see how I came across as having a problem with ‘the agenda argument’, but that’s only because so often people on here fall back on that as an easy out, rather than acknowledge well rounded discussion. I would like to believe I form my opinions based on what I see or know, not how I feel about someone. To me, that is not an agenda, that’s critical thinking and analysis. I do also want to clarify, I don’t disagree with you (or anyone else) when you say the club is blameless, as there is always two sides to every story. However, the problem clubs have these days with disciplining players is that if the player feels like they’re being unfairly treated or it’s just too hard, they agitate for a release. The player then gets it and the only party that suffers is the club, whilst the player gets off scott-free and goes on to simply sign with another club. It’s for that reason that most of the weaker clubs, which we have very much been over the last few years, are less inclined to do anything that may get their players off side. I do seem to recall though that the club actually did get MJohns in at least one off season, or am I remembering wrong? I seem to recall he then went on to wax lyrical about how good our halves were?
