The stats do play a huge part here also the rules are not different the game is the same it just shows in the 48 minutes per match MJ produced more and add to that the fact MJ was a far better defender was once defensive player of the year and 9 times on the defensive first team along with his 6 finals and 5 season mvp awards his stats and records do not lie he is/was the greatest.
