I also think he's missing something here when he talks about Bennett being so hands on, and that is Wayne's age and the point he's at in his life, both of which are going to continue to take a toll on how hands on he's prepared to be from a Coaching perspective going forward. He might well be very hands on if he got the role tomorrow, which might actually be a good thing for Walters sake, but in 3 years time or even 5 years time I think that would be fairly unlikely to continue to be the case as age and time limits Wayne's hands on involvement. I also don't see why in Ikin's mind we need to have a competent Football/Coaching Director OR hire experienced and competent Assistant Coaches. There is literally nothing stopping us from doing both those things and ideally we probably should look to do both. [/QUOTE]
