Evidence being they still managed 2nd place after he left and now top of the table 2 years after still. Holbrook in contrast, received a squad that from all reports was travelling the worst St Helens had been in recent history and transformed them into a team that went 21-2 and 26-3 in his last 2 seasons. It was this rebuilding background in contrast to the bordering on 80% win rate that sold me. Wane seems to be more of a[B] finals/premiership tactician[/B] from my limited knowledge as his records there seem better than his seasonal results. Happy to be proven wrong though just saying it is easy to be sucked in by the 69% win rate sprouted by the media. (Sorry it is all a bit jumbled, the main opinion was he seems more suited to finals coaching than turning around a team as it seems easy to dominate regular season games over there and he has more success in finals (3 premierships) rather then minor premierships (0) etc. Not what you need now imo) [/QUOTE]
