I'd say it's average, Sam. Bowling is kind of cool, you shine the ball, pick the part of the pitch you want to land the ball on. Then you roll your arm over, and if you time it right it lands where you selected. If you're too early or late then it's going to be off line. You can also control movement by rotating the remote left or right (outswing/leg break, inswing/off break), and you can control the pace depending how fast you move your arm. However, most wickets are skied balls that get caught. I think I've had about 2 bowled, 1 lbw and a handful of caught behind dismissals. Most are just shit shots from the batsman. That and ridiculous run outs that'd make Pakistan embarrassed. Batting is not as good. Basically it all comes down to timing, and the odd thing is you just have to swing your remote when the ball is about half way down the pitch. You can choose to play a defensive shot, or an aggressive lofted shot, and you can manually select where to aim based on the line of the ball but I find letting it do its own aiming is fine. Running between wicket is easy enough. Press B to run, and then shake the remote to run faster. Press A to dive. Fielding is entirely AI driven (other than field placings, you can choose that) and it's completely retarded. They drop catches and fumble pick ups a fair bit. However, they never miss the stumps. And if the batsman hits the ball well then just about every fielder stands still and let's it go for 4. Even if your out fielder is like 2 metres away from it. So yeah, it's OK to play. Currently I'm playing the 2009 Ashes and am 3-0 up, in the 4th Test now. I won all 3 Tests by an innings so far, and the 4th test is looking no different. LOL
