Workplace safety has really affected sports. Rugby league has gone soft. No more rucking in rugby and now guys lay on the wrong side of the ruck because you cannot ruck them out of there. when there was rucking no one would lay on the wrong side as they knew they would get sprig marks all over them. The boundaries brought in for cricket to stop players sliding in the fence etc. Probably food things to a certain extent but my view is if you don't want to get hurt then don't play the games etc. And on Lawton, he was sent off because the Sea Eagles were NOT playing the Warriors. if they were playing the Warriors he would have just been put on report. There is only 2 possible ways a player can get sent off for a tackle like that. 1) If he is a Warriors Player, and 2) If he is not playing the Warriors.
