Then all of a sudden Broncos put their hand up and it's widespread condemnation and the "system doesnt work and has to change". The system hasn't been working since 2020, but the NRL doubled down and kept the formalisation of rosters well out beyond June 30... apparently still August 1 this year (ie. 1 month out from finals).
