If they went ahead and signed James Fisher-Harris for example, I'd say it was a great signing and exactly the type of player they needed. RCG? I didn't want him here and I think anything over a 1 year veteran contract is asking for trouble. It's just one of several that leaves me scratching my head. I enjoy watching him play, but I don't get the logic in signing AJ Brimson until 2030. The Titans had to make a tough decision there and needed to consider AJ's injury history before commiting long term. Besides, who were they competing with? Why make such a long term commitment? On the bright side, I'm looking forward to the Carter Gordon experiment. It's all well and good to say 'sign a half! sign a hooker!' but it's not like you can go out and sign Nathan Cleary. If the Gold Coast play this right, they could very well have a quality halves combo in Gordon/Harrison by 2026. [/QUOTE]
