Re: NRL Movements and Rumours - 2016 Slowpoke news, but I missed last week's podcast and only caught it in this week's Big League. Manly have released fourteen fringe first graders Here is what their releases look like heading into 2017 Jamie Lyon Tim Moltzen Siosaia Vave Fabian Goodall Josh Starling Liam Knight Nathan Green Blake Leary Isaac John Jayden Hodges Rhys Armstrong Halaufa Lavaka Tony Satini Dylan Kelly Hugh Pratt Jesse Ramien Nicho Hynes Darcy Cox Feleti Mateo Luke Burgess Tom Symonds With Shaun Lane signed and Blake Green set to be announced. That leaves Billy Bainbridge Lewis Brown Jamie Buhrer Daly Cherry-Evans Addin Fonua-Blake Apisai Koroisau Shaun Lane Brenton Lawrence Darcy Lussick Steve Matai Willis Meehan Nate Myles Matt Parcell Brad Parker Brett Stewart Jorge Taufua Martin Taupau Jake Trbojevic Tom Trbojevic Dylan Walker Brayden Williame Frank Winterstein Matt Wright Tom Wright That's 24 players, add in Green there's 25 but rumour has it Stewart could be on the outer so it could go either way. Either there's a bunch of signing news we've yet to heard or Manly are going to have next to no depth. Likely 17 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jorge Taufua 3. Dylan Walker 4. Steve Matai 5. Matthew Wright 6. Blake Green 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Darcy Lussick 9. Matt Parcell 10. Nate Myles 11. Martin Taupau 12. Jamie Buhrer 13. Jake Trbojevic 14. Apisai Koroisau 15. Lewis Brown 16. Brenton Lawrence 17. Addin Fonua-Blake It gets pretty thin from there. You've got Shaun Lane who was impressive in limited time in 2015 but barely made it onto the park this year. Bainbridge who is a solid prospect but you'd have to think requires more seasoning. Willie Meehan who associated with the wrong people and threw his career away at the Roosters. Then there's Frank Winterstein who came into the side when they were in a bind, did a job but wasn't exactly inspirational when he came in. The backs situation isn't much better. Parker seemed like a decent fill-in, if I was Barrett I'd like to see him take that wing spot from Wright but otherwise they look light on out wide as well. Tom Wright had plenty of raps on him, but didn't get much of an opportunity in 20s to showcase his skills. Interesting times ahead, I can't remember the Sea Eagles being this irrelevant since 2003. At least in 2004, you got the sense they were building towards something.
