[QUOTE="Kooly87, post: 3119728, member: 9326"] No, the punishment will be handed down because aside from breaking a law, you've treated your team mates, fans and your employer with utter contempt with your actions. The NRL is at this very moment delicately poised on a knife edge for getting re-started, which means you and your team mates and the guys who work in the club offices who don't earn hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, can all go back to work and start getting paid and looking after their families again. Fans can have their footy back on TV, which in a time like this would mean a great deal to so many. The NRL can't get re-started unless it gets buy in and clearance from several levels of government and various health authorities, and they won't get that unless they can show they are taking it seriously and will run a watertight operation and that their employees will act with complete responsibility and compliance. To go and disregard all this was incredibly stupid. To then post it on your social media (not a punter with a couple of hundred friends mind you, a footballer with tens of thousands of followers) is so idiotic it defies belief. You've put your own health and the health of others in danger, and on top of that, your actions have the potential to have serious financial and economic repercussions for not only yourselves, but your colleagues as well, some of whom do not enjoy the significant wealth the game provides these two idiots and are now out of a job until the game can be switched back on. I'm sorry but, they've absolutely backed the NRL into a corner here with such a blatantly selfish disregard for others, and a swift and severe punishment is the only hope the NRL has for not letting the authorities use it against them to deny them the chance to get the competition restarted.
