Manly ought to flog the Warriors, but it'd just be like Manly to get out-enthused by a team that's out of the running. The Warriors have been unlucky in that results haven't gone their way and they've had some unfortunate set-backs. There's been games where they did enough to win but divine intervention or some truly horrible officiating denied them. However they're also a complacent footy team with a few players in the twilight of their careers. It stands to reason that it was a matter of time before it went south. The challenge for them moving forward is improving their systems, pushing the right players through and ensuring they have the right leaders at the club. Webster for mine has done a great job of giving them the blueprint to be successful. He just needs to stop trying to thrift shop and focus on bringing the right players to the club.
