Following up on the idea of Monday night Origin, Gould wrote this artcle in the SMH:

Overlooking the political rant and the conference idea to make sure a Sydney team always makes the GF, there are plenty of good ideas that could go a long way in fixing the scheduling issues in our game.
I love the k/o cup style comp, and would actually try to find a way to incorporate the best club teams from Qcup, NSW, NZ and Pacific nations...

Not too sure about the International plans though...

Thoughts?
 
Very good idea.
But I can't see the NRL trying anything dramatic, the administration is a joke that seem to be immune from criticism in the media.

Yeah, I think this is definitely aimed at the Independent Commission though...

If that ever comes to light, it's been over a year now and it's just BS after BS. Too many dinosaurs to get out of the way.
