Made the 2010 NYC team of the year. Daniel Foster - Former Panthers NYC half Krys Freeman - Former Parra/Storm NYC prop. Jake Grace - Former Panthers NYC Captain. Plays in the backrow Kurt Horton - Former Panthers NYC Backrow George Jennings - Current Panthers NYC Centre. Younger brother of Michael and a good prospect. Matt Moylan - Former Panthers NYC Fullback/Current Windsor Fullback. Decent chance of taking the role off of Coote. Tony Satini - Current Panthers NYC Centre. A genuine prospect that could very well end up in the backline at some point. Vaipuna Tia Kilifi - 2012 NYC Team Member of the Year. Backrow who was just destroying sides down the left fringe. Will factor in the Panthers 2013. Tekina Vaila - 2012 Panthers NYC Backrow. BP Thoughts: Three steps forward, three steps backwords seems to summarise my thoughts quite adequately. The Panthers made a number of astute purchases, but instead of being able to build on a trying 2012, it appears 2013 will be another rebuilding year after the shocking departures of Luke Lewis and Michael Jennings. Gould's philosophy seems to be short term pain for long term gain and unless he can score some big signings for 2014, I feel like this venture may prove to be too adventurous for one of the game's most controversial characters. If Panthers are to make any waves, they'll have to keep it simple and lean on their forwards to make in-roads and hope that young guns like Tia Kilifi, Roberts, Whare & one of their NYC centres can step up. Walsh has talent but has to be one of the dumbest halves in the game and who knows where Lachlan Coote will end up. It appears he'll make the transition to five eigth, but if he does so, it does open the Panthers up on both fringes and does present a problem at fullback. Whether Moylan or Roberts can fill that role remains to be seen. I expect to see them near the spoon. Would almost say spoon, but I think Cleary commands too much respect to sink that low. [/QUOTE]
