Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory, Australian Defence Force and an indigenous invitational First Nations side all played in the Opens. Previously there were QLD and NSW regional sides and the other states were combined into one, so it's great to see each state have a side this time, and an important step for league in those areas, while also not having to contend with QLD and NSW. QLD Rubys and Sapphires, NSW City and Country, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory are the in U19s, again great to see each state have a side, despite some of the beltings they copped from QLD and NSW WA beat First Nations Gems 10-6 in golden point to take out the championship in the Opens and the Sapphires beat the Rubys 16 -4 in the U19s final after both beat City and Country respectively in nail-biters in the last games of the round robin [/QUOTE]
