They had no interest getting through their sets and gave the Dogs far too many opportunities. The killer was at 28-14. Brisbane had a scrum feed inside Canterbury's half when Tristian Hope was penalised for a scrum infringement. The Dogs bullied the Broncos right-side defence and just tore them apart scoring try after try after try. The match-winner was also an eery sense of deja vu from a few weeks ago when I believe it was Brown from Penrith out-lept Fauid to win the game for Penrith. Individually, there were some good performances, but as a team it was incredibly poor form. Usually I'm not one for bad sportsmanship, but watching Kiko Manu run down time by racing 50m backwards and conceding a goal-line drop-out felt like an appropriate way to finish the game.
