Also it could have been a fall caused by an ingestion of some drugs ( god knows I know that's possible !) it's even possible to wake up with blood in the nose,mouth and on the pillow and not have a clue how it happened ! From her words she was asleep to begin with and then was going back to sleep when 'it' happened. He could have been shaking her awake and she's angrily turned away hitting the bedside table. So many scenarios and yet she doesn't want to press charges or talk about it, usually a sign that she had more to do with the fight or considers it not that important.
