I often joked with him and suggested he spoke to the council and delayed the bus for another 5 minutes but he always left at the same time. Unfortunately, this whole story has no lesson or happy ending as he'd be just as sad as the rest of us leaving with 5 minutes to go knowing we'd been cuffed severely again.
