They need to introduce a bonus point system for keeping teams under a set amount of points. It might help the kids focus on defence. Because we are seeing these type of scores each week.

The scores this week in T Cup have been.
Parra - Melb - 22 - 29
Dogs - West - 36 - 30
Roosters - Sharks - 24 - 20
Panthers - Knights - 64 - 32

That is 257 points already. It can be exciting footy but when these kids step up they are way behind what they need to be.

And the senior comps below NRL are so poor. Q Cup isn't as good as it was a few years ago and NSW Cup is embarrassing. Need to bring back reserve grade.

+1. More guys are comign from 20's to QCup and with feeder systems a lot of clubs are strong. Sunny Coast won the comp in their first year. It's easily better than NSW Cup and defensively heaps better than nyc. NYC might be more exciting but I'd back the best team in Cup over best team in NYC everyday of the week.

Perhaps it's just the games I've seen on TV then. Poor defence. Unimaginative attack. Just meh.
