[QUOTE="The Brizz, post: 2427596, member: 1817"] Posted this in the other thread but thought it appropriate here 1. Billy Moore screaming QLDER as the team comes down the tunnel 2. Mal's swear word riddled pregame speech about not letting eachother or the state down as captain 3. Calling Cattle Dog in the first scrum despite knowing it would cause a brawl 4. Carl Webb destroying Luke Bailey 3 times in 5 minutes with a Q shaved in his skull 5. The Axe playing after spending the previous night on a drip 6. Paul Bowman making a several tackles with an ACL injury because we were already short of troops amd because he was desperate to not let his mates down 7. King Wally get stuck into MG despite being double his age and half his size VS 1. Justin Poore picking up and dropping a heavily concussed Steve Price for no apparent reason 2. Ben Creagh starting a fight with Justin Hodges then running away 3. Jamie Lyon demonstrating that famous NSW spirit by refusing to answer the call despite desperate pleas for him to play 4. Eric Grothe Jnr, for just being 'meh' at the prospect 5. Mark Geyer admitting regularly to be sh!tting himself when Wally Lewis squared up to him in Origin despite being 5 times his size A big reason we are more passionate as fans and as a team is we openly celebrate the amazing feats of courage from our guys when they go well beyond what they need to do because in Origin you have to do it for the guy beside you. Perfect example of that is Paul Bowman who had no right to make the tackles he did before going off but as he said he couldn't bare to let his mates down. We as QLD'ers embrace and celebrate these moments they go down in our legend and our Origin folklore and it gets told from one generation to the next, I have no idea what it is like in NSW but I doubt the passion is that big. We live Origin this time of year and the guys in the team now grew up in that atmosphere just like us. I am almost unapproachable the entire next day after an Origin loss I am that pissed off, I know plenty of NSW born and bred people who in the same situation both during this run and during previous times just shrug the losses off and move on. The culture here is different and if you don't understand that Broncoman I am sad for you because the whole Origin experience is far superior when you are born north of the border win, lose or draw.
