The point of the dinky kicks aren't to score, at best they are to get a repeat set, bit primarily they are to have the opposition hanging back for the kick, giving the runners space. As much as some other halves seem like absolute spuds, you can understand how hard it must be to play behind a beaten pack, because without the multiple opportunities on the opponent's line, you can't do the setup work. They either have to chance their hand knowing their opportunities would be limited, or they go through the setup work and just hope to **** they finally get the chance to pull the trigger later in the game.
