The point of the dinky kicks aren't to score, at best they are to get a repeat set, bit primarily they are to have the opposition hanging back for the kick, giving the runners space. As much as some other halves seem like absolute spuds, you can understand how hard it must be to play behind a beaten pack, because without the multiple opportunities on the opponent's line, you can't do the setup work.
