Last night in 5 mins he dropped a bomb leading to a try and then got sent to the bin next set. That's poor. Not going to be too critical on Madden. He didn't have that many miss tackles and because the forwards were dominated he didn't have much space to do anything. First game so I'm going to cut him some slack. Cobbo was solid. There was one lazy one-handed attempt on grabbing onto a pass but I think the rest of the passes were just poor. If he didn't have Staggs inside of him he probably would have scored a couple of tries. His kick returns are getting much better. Not quite at Oates level but much better than previous. At the end of the day we just couldn't slow their play the ball down. They just kept rolling down the field. It shows the importance of a great dummy half, which we don't have.
