I believe Hunt and Milford are still serving an "apprenticeship" into becoming a complete halves pairing, and by making the finals this season it sort of fast tracked their "education". Part of that is due to Hunt being wasted for so long, and that the Hunt/Milford partnership is relatively new. As gut wrenching as this loss is, this season was not our time, and this will make us better as a team. It will be a great learning experience for our halves. I have no doubt we will bounce back and we are not far off to winning the premiership. These sort of moments shape a a player into a champion, and from what I've seen of Hunt, he will bounce back hungrier, he will dominate this competition, and he will lead this same group of players to a premiership.
