From what I understand we've had pretty impressive numbers every week this year, so a big thanks to everyone who voted. Koko is still on extended shifts collating the Member Award votes, so we've had to lock [MENTION=2221]Porthoz[/MENTION] in a sealed room with nothing but tins of baked beans and the ballot box, and he's not being let out until everything's been gone through.

We suspect he will emerge in the next day or two, and when that door opens, the fumes expelled, the votes disinfected, we will post the results here in all their glory. Feel free to speculate, but from the look on his face right now, there may be a surprise or two in the outcome. Or maybe he followed through.
 
If Ben Hunt is not player of the season, feel free to ban me for a month.

- 16 players received BHQ's votes during the regular season, from an average of 38 valid votes per round.

- There was a clear decline in voting as the season went by, and BHQ was much more inclined to vote after a win than a loss.

- Round 1 against the Bulldogs was the most voted, with 76 votes, followed by the away game at the Knights in round 7, with 61.

- Round 26 against the Storm was the worst, with only 18 votes, although the Panthers game was a close second with 20 votes.

- Ari Gold's votes for Shaun Johnson and Sam Tomkins were obviously eliminated as they do not play for the Broncos, but the Anna Kendrick ones were originally given to the player that most closely resembles her...

Jon looked assured of a Top 3 finish thanks to [MENTION=1917]Ari Gold[/MENTION], [MENTION=7802]broncos4life[/MENTION], [MENTION=1848]ningnangnong[/MENTION] and [MENTION=1976]Nashy[/MENTION]. The latter tried to cheat the system to give Anna, pardon... Jon the win, but as usual, Koko was vigilant and intervened. It was also thanks to Koko pointing out the fact that Jon Green did not actually play a single NRL game for the club, that those votes were also considered invalid, and therefore... eliminated.

To everyone who complained about Hunt polling more Dally M votes than DCE and not getting the halfback award, I'd just like to point out that whilst we all gave Hunt no votes, he actually received 2 Dally M votes for that game.

Which isn't to say that Hunt shouldn't have won it, but just that getting more Dally M votes is often a sign of nothing.
