They still wouldn’t admit they’d got it wrong in the first place. The arrogance is / was breath-taking. Often it was stupid and self-defeating, yet persisted nonetheless. Until it led us directly to the wooden spoon, it was un-assailable. Once that happened, there were no more excuses. Change had to come. [/QUOTE]
