A steady supply of the ball in hand is vital in this new era, and teams in front need to learn to treasure possession and territory. Too often we get caught in the corners and too little our opponents. Tonight we were much better but there is still work to do, along with lazy defenders not following the point of contact when off the ruck. Our defenders outside the point of contact, as opposed to those tackling need to be aware of second phase play. That is what cost us. Second phase from offloads and broken tackles needs to be addressed because more often than not we tend to go to sleep as the players make contact, believing the work is done.
