The 'non cap cheating' in the only year they were successful is highly suspect, but if the NRL were in on it then it almost certainly doesn't fit in with the way the NRL has viewed the Sharks for most of their recent existence where they would undoubtedly have preferred for the club to be forced to move or fold.
