As teams get their act together and plan and train for the faster pace, the number of huge blowouts will lower. It'll be like when the NRL lower the interchange. There'll be a flood of "blowouts"(scores well above the long-term mean score for NRL games, anway) as teams work out how to deal with it. Then in a season or two, we'll be back to normal. It's also simplistic to the new rule changes - which I think should have been implemented with a fair bit more time and input from the clubs (I'm talking about the 6 again and similar rules here primarily, but also the head-high crackdown applies) - have permanently ruined the greatest game of all. Sometimes the team at the receiving end of the blow-out has just been shit. Not looking at the Warriors, of course. [I]That is on Mr Vlandy's head! I want him and his family dead!
