Grant would have easily found a club who would have thrown him straight into first grade at 300-400k for 1 year and he would have found a mega bucks deal the year after that. I can believe it when it happens once, or twice, but Melbourne over and over again get players on significant unders for long term deals which defies all a logic in an industry where for players, they know their careers are short with the vast majority being under 50 games, you get the best deal you can as soon as you can.
