What's wrong with his commitment during his time with us? Well he has made the club and himself look stupid numerous times over the years with terribly timed comments and the bathroom incident, but the club has stood by him through it all. A lot of the supporters, myself included have copped shit because we support the club that he plays for because of that bathroom incident, because of the Third Man Thaiday thing. Why does next year effect me when he said the comment this week, as a Brisbane Broncos contracted player, as the rest of the team is focused on beating their main rival, he's sucking up to them in the media. What has he given the media? More ammo. Like they need any other reason to shit on the Broncos. 'EX BRONCOS CAPTAIN SUPPORTS RIVAL CLUB' will come out once they get over this Parker VS Bennett/Boyd thing that you're adding fuel to the fire with. These points have all been made already and hardly responded to. Saying we don't appreciate it or would be happy for him to be dropped isn't being whiny. At this point there are better players in the wings and he hasn't been good for years now. People have been calling for his head for years, this is just the straw that broke the camels back for a few of us. I, for one, don't think his head has been in the game for a while now. Parker and Hodges could leave because they had jobs lined up. Thaiday has spent the last few years trying to land a job instead of doing the job he already has well. I would also have been happy to see McGuire dropped this week. The hair pulling, whilst it has been happening to our blokes for years (Thaiday, Sims and Blair) is just dumb, immature and weak. People go through Broncos games with a fine-tooth comb because it's what gets the likes on Twitter. It might seem small but we don't need anything to make our season more difficult. Between that and Thaiday wishing he played for a different team, I hope our young fellas are surrounded by other people who can set a good example for what it means to be a Bronco.
