Origin will never stop being mid week until something that the can't ignore or shape the media around happens. It is going to take something like every coach banding together and refusing to release their stars to force a change... and this won't happen. It's the same as all the whinging going on about the refs at the moment, whats the point? it won't change. It would take a captain marching their team off the field to make them do something, or one of the half wits admitting that they are rigging the games for it to change... and we all know that this wont happen.
