As daring as Brisbane were with the ball, it was their defence that won them the game. The kick-chase was on song and the goal-line defence was a throwback to 2015. The Broncos really got stuck into the Bulldogs on key plays and the defence, especially from the inside players frustrated the Bulldogs into error. There was only one blemish with Gillett failing to mark up on Kasiano, otherwise it was a very impressive display. The win certainly makes the race for the Top 4 that more interesting heading into the final two rounds of the competition. If Brisbane can build on this performance and gain some measure of revenge against Melbourne & Sydney, you never know. If the Broncos do go onto achieve a Top 4 spot, it'd be interesting to know who they'd rather play between the Storm and the Sharks. Lots to look forward to, but last night was certainly a nice way to kick the round off. [/QUOTE]
