They’ll need to work on that in the off season. I think all the skills and input he does have is a massive starting point for someone his age. His defence has far improved, he is skilful, quick and often beats his opposite centre with his step back infield. He also has one of the best kicking at full pace I’ve seen. I think the pass is the right option but the winger had already turned his shoulder to contain Oates. Hard to call it a bombed try but I agree it was probably the better option.
