Well despite all the negatives , I actually nearly enjoyed this game . One because I was actually able to watch the whole 80 ,but 2 If we have to lose ,which we absolutely shouldn't have , I don't mind losing albeit by poor discipline and intensity , dud ref calls, or shit game plan . It was a small reward for a better effort ,that should have secured a win . A game of 2 halves alright and I was at least impressed with some performances. Xavier Coates was a standout ,and I was really surprised with Corey Oates ability as well. I even had to stop and rewind once there, for a tackle Milf made ,as I didn't believe it was him . It looked like Milford and Boyd were read the riot act as they should have been, and actually made some sort of an effort . Payne Hass is just a really special player ,possibly their best . look they weren't great but the signs again were there. Brodie Croft's kicking game was better and his stats were almost ,if not better than Cherry- Evans . Kotoni Staggs does look dangerous with the ball ,but he needs a better combination inside him ,and just back up Xavier Coates ,because he's looking to offload the ball if he can ,as he hasn't yet learned to be a hog . They just lack a really good finessed game plan, and with the return of TPJ and Andrew Fifita ,they just need training to BACK each other up, look to offload for 2nd phase play or promote to someone Looking to PUT themselves in a better position . They draw so much defence these forwards, they are strong runners when the want to be and working together as a pack ,and not as individuals just hitting it up ,would in attack I think gas any of these NRL sides defences .This is the JOB of the coach and I've always said this is a good roster of players to work with . Yes they say they are just young men ,however this should advantage them, with their youth ,fitness and strength , to play a strong full 80 minutes football. A win would have been a good confidence builder, but I've had at least some faith somewhat restored , I just hope they have . Go the fucking Broncos .
