I wonder how Moylan feels after watching that? Penrith had a lot of opportunities tonight and they missed Moylan dearly. As skillful as the halves are, they don't have the experience to adapt and formulate an effective gameplan and Dylan Edwards wasn't in sync with the rest of the side. It's an expensive price and Moylan may have cost his side a place in the Top 4. They also really missed Tyrone Peachey out there. He's been one of the most damaging players in the game so far in 2017 and they rely heavily on him to trouble the defence and get them to bunch up whenever he has the football. Souths were better, they look dangerous whenever they shape left and have Sutton working in tandem with Walker. They're struggling with the new combinations and I don't think the Farah signing has worked out as they would have hoped but there's still enough flashes to trouble any side on their day. I like the look of Angus Crichton and Damien Cook, if I was Maguire I would persist with them for the rest of the season while taking a wait and see approach with Burns, Jennings & Talakai. They've got some other prospects there like Moceidreke and Fuimaono who could be worth a shot down the track. It's going to be a tough season for South Sydney, so Maguire has to make some long term decisions to benefit the club. Whether it's going to market to buy some quality players in positions of need or developing the right combinations, Maguire has to make some changes. Meanwhile Penrith have a genuine chance this season, but they still have a lot to learn and they have to make the most of these lessons. Tonight is a game they should have won, even with they players they had missing. Unfortunately some of their younger players were exposed tonight.
