The Broncos absolutely panicked when they failed to sign Taylor, despite them, quietly being arrogant about their ability to sign him. They had no Plan B, and instead threw money at a player and hoped it would stick. With a team with the largest resources in the competition, how could they fail to have any forward planning for the direction of this team? This failure has reared its head in the past, with the failure to plan for a successor to Bennett leaving, Lockyer leaving etc. The fundamentals of running a successful business is to have a clear direction, which i currently do not see at the Broncos.
