[QUOTE="BroncsFan, post: 3134775, member: 9052"] But it's seems like this blood letting of the roster was on the cards regardless of who came into coaching. Would Bennett have been able to oversee releasing of a number of players? Likely Roberts and Sua stay and Maguire probably goes still anyway, but would he have been able to make the call on Kodi, Macca, Kahu and co... our cap is in a mess even with all the players that have been let go so anyone that would've stayed would have cost us one of the juniors Would Bellamy want to come in and oversee a changeover like we have seen and potentially tarnish his legacy?? Would Kevvie have been able to make the hard call on letting players go?? Would Madge have been happy to let all these players go and start with a baby roster?? He was looking to rebuild his brand after being sacked by Souths, but it sounds like the admin are having a pretty heavy say in the turnover of the roster that we are seeing... I'd imagine Madge would've wanted to retain some of the senior talent to have experience available, but may not have had the choice. I think the only coach that would be capable of overseeing the kind of roster turnover that occurred and bring through the juniors as a force in the NRL would have been Robertson, but he's just not available I think Seibold may have been a little naive in regards to the job ahead, but he was provided with an opportunity to set this team up for long term gains provided he was happy to do it with a young squad.
