Because afterall, we're taught from under 6s that the referee won't change his mind. Ask a question sure, but when you get the answer you say "thanks, sir" and get on with the game. It's disrespectful otherwise. Do we want to sanitise our game that much? The most ridiculous notion I heard is that "kids will go out on the field on the weekend and tug the referee's shirt if Sam gets let off"...what, a, joke. [/QUOTE]
