This is going to be a great game between 2 in form teams.

I expect Canberra to win but Souths could cause an upset. Both teams have plenty of points in them which should make for an entertaining game.

Canberra 1-12 I think

Milne forward pass to Purtell, try gone begging under the posts.

7mins gone

Merritt beats Monaghan one on one on the outside and passes the ball with Capewell being the intended reciever but Purtell got in the way to intercept for a 4-0 lead.

Had that pass made it Capewell was away down the other end.

Kick from Campese to come, which is....good.

Canberra 6-0 after 13mins

Picker makes an error 30 out from his own line. On the 4th tackle Sandow takes the line on and splits Herbert up and carries Milne over the line.

Luke converts for 6 all, 18mins gone

Sloppy pass which bounces puts Simpson 60m downfield and 2 plays later Luke uses his footwork to get through Tongue and Best to score.

Souths 10-6 with a Luke conversion to come, which is.....successful for a 12-6 lead, 28mins gone

Campese passes to Picker who splits them and Merrit comes up with a try-saver 1m out from his line. Campese held up next tackle and nothing came of the opportunity.

Score remains 12-6

Canberra halfback Marc Herbert is off the field with a suspected Medial ligament injury to his knee and is unlikely to return. Big blow for the Raiders attack, looks like Tongue is now playing halfback haha

Champions cuts Best to pieces off a Merritt ball to score in the corner.

Souths lead 16-6 with a Sandow conversion attempt to come. The kick is straight as a dye!!

Souths lead 18-6 1 minute out from oranges

Sandow hits a drop kick from 42m out from the Raiders goal line to get a field goal.

Souths lead 19-6 at half time.

Canberra just look as flat as a tack, I am not sure they can come back from this far behind particularly with their halfback of the field and their lack of ability to complete their sets currently (9 of 18 @ 50%).

Campese grubbers on the last, which rebounds off Fa'alogo's boot and it lands straight in the bread basket of Joe Picker who strolls over under the posts.

Souths lead 19-12 with Campese's successful kick at goal. 43mins gone

Best chops Simpson up one on one and then beats Merritt on the outside for pace to score basically in the corner.

Souths lead 19-16 with a Campese conversion attempt to come.

Campese's kick is...a shocker! By his standards anyway

Score remains 19-16 with 49mins gone

Beautiful pass from Campese to Monaghan to set the platform for that try.

Campese throws a massive long ball and hits Monaghan on the chest who chops Capewell and Talanoa up. Talanoa comes again and makes the try-saving tackle with Merritt.

Campese on the next dishes off to Purtell who gets a double in the corner.

Conversion successful for a 22-19 lead, 58mins gone.

Field goal now to get 4 in front?

Sandow takes a risk with a long ball on the 4th tackle inside their own 10m line in which Brett Kelly catches for the Raiders and scores under the posts to extend Canberra's lead.

26-19 with a kick to come from Campese.....which is good, 28-19 with 20mins remaining.

Gee wiz what has happened to the Rabbits?? They must have clocked off massively at half time

Out of nothing Campese puts Tongue through a gaping hole who then passes off to a supporting Milne who scores under the sticks again.

Canberra are on fire and lead 32-19 with a kick to come which is successful 34-19 is the score with 15mins remaining

Bloody hell they're in again.

Canberra are such an exciting team to watch.

Great backline play ends with Purtell getting on the outside of Capewell and then dishes off to Monaghan back on the inside who scores adjacent to the uprights.

Canberra lead 38-19 with a kick to come from Campese....which is successful for 40-19 with 10mins to go
