RL is a game that can be watched at home and sometimes you see far more, whereas AFL is a game that is hard to watch on TV because of the way it is played. Reducing coverage only serves to piss fans off, especially when ticket prices are becoming unattainable, and it pisses those off that don't live in the right areas. I live in Mackay, travelling 3.5-4 hours each week to see a team I only support as a second option, with 2 kids under 2.5 is not viable. Nor is travelling Brisbane each week.
