The NRL is really starting to bug me and I know a lot of people feeling like turning away from it. Sometimes it makes you wonder whether you are watching League or Union or Soccer. The rule changes, IMHO, are ruining this game and prior to these changes (and Melbourne's wrestle) the game was a solid sport which, while still having some controversy was quite fair and translated well to all levels (from U16s and below all the way up to A-Grade). The thing that bothers me the most is this balancing out in games. Why does there have to be an equivalent penalty count for most games? It makes no sense. Also, does anyone feel as though the bookies often pick the correct winner, even in imbalanced contests, too often. I seem to remember that the Broncos were playing some BS teams this year and were slated to lose and, guess what, they lost. I really dislike that a professional sporting body can be "sponsored" by a betting agency. Sorry, this wasn't meant to be a rant. Thoughts anyone?
