It was a good tackle, but any fullback worth their weight would have come up with it. Similar story with Tuqiri, cept he received the ball on the second tackle and the only option he had was to pin the ears back. Instead, he stepped straight back into Phillips. I'll give him credit with Dell, even though he had a 10m start and Sailor had about as much space as Tuqiri, Dell could blitz people in those situations, so there's one worth celebrating. The other try saver was off a chip kick from Walters which bounced up poorly for Lockyer and perfectly for Phillips. You're entitled to your opinion, but in order for Phillips to be a worthy recipient based on those plays, they all had to be these freakish try saving plays when really they were all fairly basic.
