That would have caused Soward and his coach to consider the ploy. Anyway, watch the game again and admire the thought that went into Soward's role ( especially the first half ) and the way he was able to execute it. Very smart and effective and it helps to explain why JT has been very quiet to date. As one of the commentators said when describing the Qld attack, "They seem to be making it up as they go along."
