In any case though it was a blatant and obvious penalty. It simply could not be defended in any way and very few would disagree(especially in say,12 months time when it's old news). Imagine them playing the footage in a years time on some footy show and they posed the question generally..is this a penalty ? We all know it'd be 99% of the footysmart people saying...blow that whistle ref. Cartwrights way off on this one but it does highlight how irrational people can be and how screwed their view can be when you bring in the emotion of sport. Needless to say, only religion and politics create weirder leaps of reason. [/QUOTE]
