To me the omission of particularly Hass is more a "we thought the titans might name a full strength team but they didn't so we'll put a couple guys on ice this weekend". Trials are likely a fine balance between ensuring they're a challenge but not that challenging that you go down by 50 and it does more harm then good. But also not that easy that it gives a false sense of how you're travelling. It will be good for the forwards to have to do it all themselves without Hass doing the work of two men. I hope the tits forwards really big some punch because if we can get our guys battle hardned they could really do some damage this year. Also hoping Oates gives it a red hot crack tomorrow. I really think Corey Oates at his best offers this team so much. The days of him having 250 run meters a game had us starting our sets on the front foot!
