which equates to nearly 20m at the speed Usain runs.[/quote:1733tbjt] yes but 1.5s between a PROFESSIONAL SPRINTER AND THE FASTEST PERSON IN HISTORY and a rugby league player is NOT a big gap. put it into perspective. also, that 9.5 that he did was on a track, with spikes. put him on grass, without his tights, and without his spikes, and he will NOT run 9.5. and really, do you think having the worlds fastest man beat you by 20m is something to scoff at? [icon_confu [/quote:1733tbjt] It is still quite a gap in terms of running 100's, however I would expect the fastest men in league to be running low 11s which is a very respectable time for someone who doesn't train specifically for sprinting. And again, put it in perspective. 20m isn't a lot of distance really, but over 100m that means Bolt has 20% on them, which is a massive difference. I'm not saying league players aren't fast, because quite a few of them are unbelievable. Give a Brett Morris or someone with that build the proper training and who knows what they could run?
