Some of our posters on here sure carry grudges ! What's worse is the way they swoop on some journos dribble because it suits their agenda. Try considering that WB took an offer made to him. Whatever he was paid is what the market was offering, it's not something WB can be blamed for. WB has done nothing underhanded truthfully replying to media questions. Although I consider it his business what he was offered and the timing of those offers he told the world he hadn't made up his mind but wouldn't be taking a job from an employer until a position was declared vacant. How the **** do we know what happened behind the scenes ? Murdoch, after talking with the board decided to tell WB the position at the Broncos was his if he chose in 2015 . That was the most likely scenario I believe. He also was probably asked to come back with his decision before the weekend was over. He didn't do anything wrong by ringing Murdoch to say he'd accept the position, same as anyone else would have done. As for leaving clubs in a bad position, tell me the names of all the coaches who have left a club differently. What is interesting to note is that two of the three clubs he left in supposedly bad states desperately wanted him back and the other didn't want him to ever leave !!! So much for that stupid argument ! Griffin was a novice and a failure as was Henjak before him. The Broncos decided they would not repeat that mistake. They, not WB decided they wanted WB back and made him a great offer and as usual for the great man, he acted with dignity and honour. Those of you who find fault with the process need to look at yourselves and ask, why do I find it necessary to denigrate others to make myself feel superior ?
