Wayne Bennett has thumbed his nose at the media for decades and made them look like fools. It's doubtful they've forgotten all the times he's led them down the garden path and made them look stupid. Now that he is getting on in years and at the back end of his career they can sense he is now finally vulnerable. Make no mistake, once Bennett leaves the game it will be one almighty dragon the media will have finally managed to slay.
