Our side was remarkable, it won't happen again winning that many premierships. The reason we haven't won for 12 years is due to Bruno Cullen having your way of thinking and thinking a premiership every 5-6 years wasn't enough and bennett had lost it (sound familiar?). It has nothing to do with half a season of a couple of tough seasons we are currently having. The last 3 years have been great, considering we won't have a team like we did in the 90's again we have stayed near the top of the ladder and teams worry about us a little again despite what the media says. Yes we haven't won a premiership but if you look at the last "couple of seasons" we have returned to being a top 4 team consistently that we lost for 6 years with griffin and henjak. We are doing everything right, the salary cap means smart teams don't get into bidding wars for unproven players-simple. It's a risk that a couple of them might turn in to superstars, but a lot more haven't. To win a premiership EVERYTHING has to click with a bit of luck. We are doing everything else right, we just need a golden run of form mixed with a few bounces of the ball in one of those 3 seasons (1 in particular) and we wouldn't be having this conversation. I seriously suggest you do a meditation exercise after our next loss rather then watch/listen/read the media... close your eyes and take a deep breath, then imagine supporting the panthers.
